SCULPTING

The sculpting is pretty good considering the price. Of course, there are still visible cuts where pieces where joined, and the smaller details are rather lacking... But if you look at her clothes and legs, wow. That's pretty good. The pleats of her skirt are folded nicely as it blows in the wind, and her legs are long and smooth, but you can still feel the gaps under her knees, which is pretty awesome detail. I also like her bangs, which could be better, but are surprisingly detailed considering what you pay. If you look at her from behind, you're flashed by her panties (unless you're looking down from above). Of course that area is well-sculpted as well... But things like her gun and the emblem on her uniform, are not so nicely carved.

PAINTING

This figure is kind of weird in regards to painting. Some parts are solid color, while others have gradients. Her hair, for example, gets darker as you go down. That's pretty good. But then her uniform is completely solid color, as are her socks, gun, skin, and shoes. The shoes are shiny by the way! They look just like real shoes. I like them a lot. But I really dislike how her uniform is solid color.

PRICE

Something about this figure is pretty typical for ¥1500. I think it's the sloppy cuts and the solid color. But when you look deeper, it's actually got good detail in a lot of places. It's too bad the faults are so easily seen...

OPINIONS & COMMENTS

This figure is pretty neutral. It's got good points and bad points... But I think the good outweighs the bad, by just a little. The eyes are also stickers, sadly. I think it's a pretty good buy considering the price, but as usual, I recommend quality over quantity, and so I feel it would be a better buy to go for Good Smile Company's Yuri figure in the long run. Always make sure you will be happy with your purchase before you buy it. Figures are an investment, after all, and if you won't enjoy it, then it's probably not worth buying.
