Typhoon Noruda Anime Movie In Progress
An anime movie titled Typhoon Noruda, or Taifuu no Noruda in Japanese, will be released June 5th in Japan. Studio Colorido is the animation company, and it will be directed by Youjirou Arai, who previously worked for Studio Ghibli. This will be Arai's first time working as a main director, though he worked as an animation director for Ghibli.
The character design will be done by Hiroyasu Ishida, who previously directed animated shorts such as Fumiko's Confession, which has won an award.
The animated film will be about middle school children and their everyday lives, as well as some normal kid drama, when the typhoon Noruda hits their school on their island.
